Our logo
A symbol of history, nature and togetherness
The logo is made of two oak leaves, symbols of the authentic and ancient history of life and nature in Kurdistan. On the leaves, a man and a woman in traditional Kurdish dress hold hands, symbolizing social integration, togetherness, freedom, equality, and protection of and harmony with the environment and nature. The green and red, taken from the colours of the Kurdistan flag, stand for life and renewal, struggle and sacrifice. The stem of the leaves rests on the nib of a pen, a reference to progress, knowledge, writing and dialogue in a civilized society.
